Maud

Radial diffraction and Maud

Maud is a general software package designed to perform 2-D Rietveld refinement.

Its advandages are

• written by x-ray and neutron diffraction experts,
• pretty large user base, that extends well beyond the high pressure community,
• up-to-date,
• does it all, in one box.

On the other hand

• it's pretty hard to use,
• you have hundreds of paramaters to play with and it's easy to fuck it up,
• closed-source, God knows what goes on inside the program...

Anyway, if you understand what you're doing, and if you can get it to work, it can be very usefull to process RDX data.
